Conceived and written by Heather Raffo, an internationally acclaimed playwright known for her poetic, community driven work that forges conversations around some of todays most urgent issues. Born in the Midwest to an Iraqi immigrant father, Raffo has created work across military communities, migrant populations, and major cultural institutions from the Arab American National Museum in Detroit to The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
