About This Event
Tomorrow Will Be Sunday is a bold, inventive play about why we move and what it costs to survive. Blending theatrical storytelling with themes of migration and global economics, the work invites us to rethink human value by first examining what we choose to value. From border towns to heartland supermarkets, the play brings emotion and theatricality to data, offering a sweeping vision of a world in motion and our daily impact on it. Conceived and written by Heather Raffo, an internationally acclaimed playwright known for her poetic, community driven work that forges conversations around some of todays most urgent issues. Born in the Midwest to an Iraqi immigrant father, Raffo has created work across military communities, migrant populations, and major cultural institutions from the Arab American National Museum in Detroit to The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
