Clock-Out Lounge Presents: Hard Chiller High Priors Wednesday Sept 30th 8pm doors 21+ $20adv/$23 dos https://hardchiller.bandcamp.com/ Hard Chiller is a musical project formed by Steve Choi (RX Bandits/The Sound of Animals Fighting) and Joe Vannucchi (From Indian Lakes). Hard Chiller is an outlet for the duo's lifetime of musical consumption and inspiration. The project's debut LP, BABY!, showcases a constant theme of juxtaposition. The LP skillfully blends old and new, pretty and dark, hard and chill. Choi and Vannucchi knew instinctively that they would lean into what makes them feel good to hear and play in this project. The result is a sound that is both heavy and dreamy, dense yet light. Rounded out by Casey Deitz (The Velvet Teen) on drums and Roger Camero (The Warriors, No Motiv) on bass, their debut LP is out now on Born Losers. https://highpriors.bandcamp.com/album/stacked-decks Veterans of PNW bands including BOAT, Heiress, Police Teeth, Brackets, Jough Dawn Baker, Racetrack, Lands Farther East, etc etc etc. Formed in late 2021, first show late 2022, odd time signatures, metal guitars, big choruses.
