Mize made his Grand Ole Opry debut in April 2022 and was invited back to play the Opry again that December. He's created his own brand of a crowd-sourced acoustic tour that brings an intimate and up-close show to small towns across America. It's been a busy three years. Mize's sixth full-length studio album Her Heartland was driven by several singles released in the last year. It still has some punch to it but in a much more subtle way than previous projects," said Mize. Mize pushed himself vocally on this record more than most of his releases; he's (half)jokingly acknowledged that some of the tracks are exceptionally difficult to sing live.
