Shea Siraj*Happy Hour Concert Series* featuring Shea SirajShea Siraj formerly Shea Pierre is a New Orleansborn pianist, composer, producer, and educator whose sound reflects the deep musical traditions of his hometown while pushing them forward. He began playing music at age four in church and with his familys gospel group, later honing his craft at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA) under mentors including Ellis Marsalis and Jason Marsalis. Pierre went on to study Jazz Studies at the Oberlin Conservatory, developing a style that blends jazz, gospel, blues, hip-hop, and global influences into a voice that is both rooted and contemporary.A respected figure on the New Orleans music scene, Shea leads his own ensembles and performs regularly at major cultural venues and festivals. He has worked with and alongside notable artists such as Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah, Donald Harrison, Weedie Braimah & the Hands of Time, and Fatoumata Diawara, among others. Through performance, composition, and community-centered projects, Shiraj continues to use music as a tool for storytelling, healing, and cultural connection.Doors: 4 pm Show: 4:30 - 6 pmSnug Harbor Jazz Bistro presents live weekly concerts.
