Chinatown Memories - (Atlanta Chinese Dance Company)

Founded in 1991, Atlanta Chinese Dance Company brings Chinese and Chinese American history and culture to life through the art of Chinese dance. This production transports audiences to Chinatown through dances inspired by hand-pulled noodles, fresh tea leaves, embroidered crafts, martial arts films, and Lunar New Year, and premieres a mini dance drama "Votes for Women" honoring an immigrant Chinese teen and American suffragists who united to advocate for women's voting rights in the early 1900s.
