Space’s Summer Patio Series: Chris Greene and Damian Espinosa

Join us this summer as we take advantage of the warmer weather and offer a FREE series of live music on our patio - afternoon jazz, grooves and more. Music will start at 4pm each evening, Union will be open to serve up pizza starting at 4:30pm, and well have drink specials flowing! So come on by and check one (or all of them) out.__________Chris Greene, the pride of Evanston, Illinois, has been one of the Midwests most popular jazz artists since his quartet in 2005. His group was voted best jazz band in Chicago in a poll by the alternative weekly, Chicago Reader. A fan friendly artist with strong ties to the community, Greene has gifted his followers with a trio of mixtapes by the group that were recorded live various clubs and jazz festivals. Those recordings, dubbed Playtime I, II and III serve as sidebars to his regular efforts, as do a pair of subsequent albums released under the tag PlaySPACE. For this special duo show, Greene will feature pianist Damian Espinosa.
