Next, he set out on the dusty road, as only blues rockers know how to do, making debut performances at SXSW Austin, MONDO NYC, with Little Richards original band at the Tutti Frutti Music Festival, and this year at the Folk Alliance International Conference. At the core of his artistry is truth-telling. His lyrics confront themes of loss, legacy, and liberation, while his guitar work lands with visceral intensity. As the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Black Americana Fest, she is at the forefront of fostering a more inclusive roots music landscape. Her evocative songwriting and compelling performances have earned critical acclaim, with audiences lauding her ability to craft deeply personal yet universally resonant songs. Reimagining Americana, her music honors tradition while forging a new path that reflects the magic, mourning, and ever-evolving spirit of the South - from her hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas to her new home in New Orleans, Louisiana.
